The Boys of the Eilan

The Boys of the Eilan marks the 125th anniversary of Newtonmore Camanachd Club. The author weaves together press reports, club records, personal reminiscences and local shinty literature to illustrate the growth of the Newtonmore Club from its early struggles to national champions. Newtonmore Camanachd Club is a shinty club from Newtonmore, Badenoch, Scotland. It is historically the most successful side in the history of Shinty, having won the Camanachd Cup a record 34 times. They won the Marine Harvest Premier Division seven years in a row beginning in 2010.
