🛍️ Returns & Refunds Overview

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused and in the same condition as received.
It must be in its original packaging.
A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

❌ Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without contacting us first.

Gift cards
Personal-use items such as abdominal guards and jewellery

🔁 Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

Please note: A new shipping charge will apply for exchanged items, and this will be processed via a separate payment request.

🎁 Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
Once received, we will issue a gift certificate to your name.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or it was delivered to the original purchaser, the refund will be sent to the buyer and they will be informed of your return.

💳 Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you confirmation and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

🛠️ Shinty Stick Care Guidelines

Shinty sticks require proper care due to the natural materials used in their construction.

✔️ Care Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place
Keep upright with handle up
Avoid excess moisture and extreme temperatures
Do not strike rocks, goalposts, metal cleats, or hard surfaces
Use only with regulation shinty balls
Play on grass or turf only — avoid tarmac, concrete, or abrasive surfaces

⚠️ What Is Not Covered

Please note: We do not offer warranties on shinty sticks. Due to the nature of the sport, the following are considered normal wear and tear:

Chips, scratches, nicks, or minor cracks
Grip wear or unravelling
Head wear from regular play
Damage from stick-to-stick clashes (a normal part of the game)

A caman is built to strike shinty balls — not rocks, fences, or other sticks. Misuse will shorten the lifespan of your stick and is not eligible for refund or exchange.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
If a refund is issued, return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

We recommend using a trackable service or shipping insurance for valuable items — we cannot guarantee we will receive your return without tracking.

🛠️ Maintenance Tips

To ensure the longevity and performance of your Tanera Caman:

Store smart:
Keep your caman in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight when not in use. Avoid leaving it in car boots, outside, or near radiators.

Choose light, handle right:
A lighter caman is generally easier to handle, allowing for quicker movements and reduced fatigue — especially for younger players or those in fast, mobile positions.

But remember:
A lighter caman means less timber, and that can mean less strength. Always choose a caman that suits your size, strength, and style of play. It’s all about finding the right balance between speed and durability.

Tape before play:
Never use a caman straight out of the bag. Always tape the handle, shaft and head to suit your style of play — this protects the stick and increases its lifespan.

Wipe & oil:
After each session, wipe your caman clean with a dry cloth and apply a light coat of raw linseed oil or varnish to nourish the wood.
